Quilt Preparation Guidelines
Do not baste or pin your quilt layers together.
Quilt backing and batting should be 6" wider and longer than your quilt top and squared up (squaring the quilt and back is very important).
Trim loose threads from the quilt, both top and bottom, especially if they are dark threads, which could show through on the lighter top fabrics.
Stay stitch a scant 1/4" around your quilt to stabilize the edges and keep seams in border from coming apart.
If there is a specific top or "head" to your quilt top or backing, please mark it.
Carefully press and fold top and backing.
Careful quilt preparation will save you additional charges!
